Pommeuse is set in the green valley of the Grand Morin in the area that also produces the famous Brie cheese. There is a lovely pathway that runs alongside the river near to the campsite. Some tips for your holiday at camping Le Chêne Gris in Pommeuse: Historic towns such as Provins and Meaux (named a World Heritage site by UNESCO) are located nearby. You are situated just 55 kilometres from Paris. The train station is on the campsite's doorstep and has a direct trains to Paris. Once in the city you can take the metro to Montmartre or the Eiffel tower, or take in whatever sightseeing you fancy. In 45 minutes you're in the heart of Paris, without any parking problems! By comparison it's an easy drive to a theme park. Parc Astérix is 77km away and Disneyland®Paris is only 20km.
